When our client, let’s call her Lauren, reached out to us, she was looking for a complete kitchen overhaul. Her current kitchen just didn’t meet her needs or wants.
She wanted more space and other improvements, so she called us at Element Design Build Remodel. And once our design and construction teams finished with Lauren’s kitchen, she was overjoyed with the results.

Our Client Sought A Comprehensive Kitchen Remodel
Lauren had finally decided to go ahead and remodel her kitchen. She wanted to address multiple issues she’d been having and change things up considerably. Once she chose us at Element Design Build Remodel, we scheduled a consultation.
Our lead designer, Ashley, met with her and began discussing what Lauren was looking for in her remodel.
Lauren wanted more storage areas throughout her kitchen and wasn’t fond of the confined, isolated space. She would much prefer a more open layout, and Ashley was already working in that direction.
After Ashley had conducted an on-site assessment, she started working on the design plans for Lauren’s kitchen. She then considered everything they had discussed and poured over the details to meticulously design the new kitchen from top to bottom.

Designing A Masterpiece
Ashley’s designs came together exquisitely. She aimed to improve the kitchen’s functionality dramatically while enhancing its aesthetic. The layout would receive a complete overhaul.
Ashley determined that two walls needed to be removed. One bordered French doors, and the other separated the kitchen from the living room. These closed off the space significantly, and their removal would help open it up.
This change to the layout would be pivotal to many improvements, including:
- Additional storage
- Improved traffic flow
- Integration of a kitchen island
Ashley had taken Lauren’s kitchen to the next level. Removing those two walls and other changes created a seamless connection to the rest of the home.

As the kitchen remodel construction was completed, Lauren could finally step into her kitchen for what felt like the first time.
The kitchen’s efficiency had significantly improved, and we replaced outdated materials and products with modern upgrades. The extended cabinetry added more storage, and the space’s design and layout allowed for more natural light, which really brought the room to life.
Lauren’s daily life would be enhanced, and so would her entertaining capabilities. Her kitchen was now the true focal point of her home, and she loved it.
