We Look For People With The Right Character
Our Technicians Will Treat You And Your
Home With The Utmost Respect
When remodeling your home in Northeast Ohio, the last thing you want to do is hire the wrong company. It’s not as easy as sitting down at the wrong restaurant and not liking the food.
The commitment is much more involved.
That’s why it’s so important to find a home remodeling company like Element Design Build Remodel that hires the right people and treats you the right way.
At Element, we offer exceptional home remodeling from the start of your project through its completion. And we’re excellent at what we do because we hire the right people for the job.
Integrity First
Integrity is so important to us that it might be first and second on our list of traits we look for when hiring. It starts as early as our interview process, where we hope to see some of the things we’re looking for, including:
- Being on time
- Being respectful
- Completing the entire application
We want to see professionalism and diligence from the moment we meet someone. How a person carries themselves around us will give us an idea of how they’ll carry themselves in your home.
And we REFUSE to send someone to your home who doesn’t act with integrity. Integrity is essential to our success and the results of your home remodeling.
Communication Is Key
In addition to integrity, we’re also looking for other traits in potential new hires. High energy and excellent communication skills are also vital for us.
Communication is pivotal in the home remodeling industry. We need to understand what you want when we design your home. It’s about bringing your vision to life – something we can’t do if we’re ineffective at communicating.
Then, we need to be able to communicate clearly to you what’s included in the scope of the work and how we’re going to complete it, as well as set clear expectations.
Communication is essential for both our office staff and our technicians. While our office staff uses written communication and is on the phone more, our technicians in the field interact directly with homeowners and provide end-of-day updates.
Communication is critical, and we prioritize it.
New Hire Training
You can’t teach a willingness to learn. We love to see it no matter how far a potential new hire is into their career. Whether they have ten years of experience or ten months, as long as they’re willing to learn, we’re happy to have them on our team.
Training lasts about two to three months. New hires will learn about our business, practices, and how we communicate with homeowners.
It’s very heavy learning. While they’ll do some work, most of what they’ll do is learn. They’ll learn about:
- Our Vendors
- Our Company
- Our Processes & More
There’s a lot to learn. But we guide each new team member through the steps until they’re off on their own by the third month. Our team members are never without support, and we have an excellent open-door policy.
All of our training is leading us to ensure that every new hire reaches the point where we’re comfortable with every part of the service they provide to you.
How We Treat You
Any technicians arriving at your home will have the baseline qualities necessary to provide an excellent customer experience. Our team members combine kindness, professionalism, and technical skills.
We could bring in a plumber for a bathroom remodel or a tile layer for a kitchen remodel. Anyone who arrives at your home during your remodel will show you and your home the respect it deserves.
Our hiring process is about you.
It’s about finding and training the right people. It’s not just about the standard we uphold but how we want our clients to be treated.
So, if you need a home remodeling design-build firm in Northeast Ohio and want a company that even focuses its hiring on what’s best for you, contact Element Design Build Remodel to schedule a consultation.
