Our Story

When founder and owner Vlatko Demrovski set out to start a remodeling company in Northeast Ohio, he didn’t quite realize the impact he would have. Once he and his wife Bethany teamed up after a bad-remodel-turned-success of their own, they knew they had what it took.

The story of Element Design, Build, Remodel is one of vision, perseverance, and achievement. But it is also a story of a solid team – a team of outstanding, reliable individuals who are committed to making remodeling dreams come true.

Where it all started

Meet the Owners

In 2013, Vlatko moved to the United States and, by 2014, began his journey as a bathroom and kitchen remodeler. His dedication to quality quickly earned him a strong reputation in the industry. In 2019, he realized his vision of opening a beautiful showroom, offering clients a one-stop shop to bring their remodeling dreams to life. Over the past decade, Vlatko has watched his business grow and evolve, and by 2023, he became a proud father of five. His journey from an immigrant to a thriving business owner and father is a testament to hard work and determination, inspiring others that with vision and persistence, dreams can become reality.

Bethany is originally from Medina, OH and earned her accounting degree and MBA in finance at the University of Akron. She currently lives in Hudson, Ohio with her husband and kids. She loves being outdoors in the sunshine and watching her kids play with their dog, Roxy.

"I enjoy being able to ensure our clients have a full-service managed approach to their renovation. I also am grateful to be able to balance my career and having a family. We like to extend the balanced work approach to our team."

The Visionaries Behind Every Space

Meet the Designers

Ashley is Element’s Principal Designer. She received a bachelor’s degree in interior design with an ancillary emphasis in architecture from Miami University. She has worked at both architecture an interior design firms and has a vast knowledge with product software’s.

When Ashley is not designing homes; she enjoys traveling, being outdoors, spending time with family and being out at the stables.

"My favorite part about being a designer is not only creating my clients dream space. But creating a space that evokes memories & feelings personalized to them. I love creating spaces that cater to each individual personality!"

Carissa graduated from Miami University with a bachelor’s degree in interior design. She enjoys being outside and going on walks with her dog, pepper. Carissa also has a passion for art and has learned different art theories. Application techniques and science of art.

Kara is currently attending Kent State University to receive her bachelor’s degree in interior design. Originally from Toledo, Ohio, she spends most of her time on campus to further her knowledge of interior design. Kara loves spending time outdoors and appreciating the beauty of nature.

With over 3 years of experience at Element Design Build Remodel, Sam plays a key role in managing projects from start to finish. He works closely with our design team, ensuring every detail is executed to perfection. Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time outdoors, especially landscaping.

Jenna graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a minor in Marketing. She is passionate about creating meaningful connections between brands and their audiences. In her free time, you can find Jenna outdoors or capturing moments through photography.
